One Piece OP-19 Respond, World!: Vegapunk's Message and the Egghead Finale Arrive in February 2027

One Piece Card Game OP-19 Respond, World! Japanese booster box display

"What will the genius scientist Vegapunk say?" With that single line, Bandai introduced the 19th main booster of the ONE PIECE Card Game on November 6, 2026. Its title, 応答せよ、世界 (Ōtō seyo, Sekai), translates as "Respond, World!", and its theme is Egghead, the island of the future. OP-19 comes out in Japan on February 27, 2027, and it has every ingredient to become one of the defining sets of the year.

The official description is short and deliberately dramatic: "What will the genius scientist Vegapunk say...! Respond, World! The 19th booster pack, themed on Egghead!" A second line on the product page adds the only gameplay teaser Bandai has shared so far: the new Leader who appeared in Egghead is not to be missed. The publisher has not named that Leader yet, and the guessing game has already started in the Japanese community.

The Japanese OP-19 display: Zoro in the foreground, Luffy behind him, on a navigator's compass.

The box art sets a very different mood from recent releases. On a vivid orange display covered with a navigator's compass and old sea charts, Roronoa Zoro charges forward with his blades drawn while Luffy, in his red coat, leaps behind him. The Japanese packaging confirms the scale of the set: 126 different cards plus one, six cards per pack and twenty-four packs per display. Two new illustrations were also shown during the broadcast.

The title points straight at the heart of the arc. Japanese sources agree that OP-19 covers the second half of Egghead, the part where the story reaches its climax: the island under siege by the Marines, Kizaru facing Luffy, the Five Elders stepping onto a battlefield for the first time, Kuma's memories revealing one of the most painful backstories in the series, Bonney discovering the true extent of her power, the giants Dorry and Brogy coming to the rescue, and Vegapunk's recorded message starting to tell the whole world the truth it was never meant to hear. "Respond, World!" reads like a call to the entire planet, exactly in the spirit of that broadcast. Few arcs have generated as much discussion among readers in recent years, and the card game is now giving it a full main set.

Distributor information gives a clearer picture of the structure. OP-19 follows the full main booster format, with several Leaders, Commons, Uncommons, Rares, Super Rares, Secret Rares, Special cards and a Treasure Rare, plus a new style of alternate art for Leaders and Special cards. For players, that means a full wave of new Leaders and support cards rather than a handful of additions. For collectors, it means a deep chase list, with parallels, SP cards and a Treasure Rare at the top.

Two Japanese One Piece OP-19 Respond, World! booster box displays

OP-19 Respond, World!, Japanese edition: 126 cards plus one, 24 packs per display.

OP-19 is not the card game's first visit to the island. EB-04 Egghead Crisis, released in Japan in January 2026, covered the opening of the arc with Jewelry Bonney in her Nika form as Leader, alongside Rob Lucci, Borsalino and the Vegapunk satellites, and its manga alternate art Koby quickly became one of the grails of the year. OP-19 picks up where that Extra Booster stopped, this time with the depth of a main set. Players who built Egghead decks over the past year get a natural continuation, and collectors get the chance to complete the arc with the moments everyone remembers.

Main boosters tied to major story beats are traditionally the most opened and most followed sets of the ONE PIECE Card Game, and the Egghead finale checks every box: emotional scenes, iconic antagonists, characters appearing on cards for the first time and a Treasure Rare to chase. Japanese displays of strong main sets also have a habit of becoming harder to find once the first print run sells through, which is why many collectors secure them at pre-order and keep at least one box sealed.

The release sits in a packed calendar. OP-18 The Dominance of God brings the God's Knights on November 21, the nostalgic Extra Booster EB-06 EAST BLUE follows on January 30, OP-19 lands on February 27, and the new Premium Extra Booster PEB-01, made only of shiny cards, closes the run on April 24. The official English name of OP-19 has not been announced yet, and the English release is expected in the same period as the Japanese one.

The Japanese edition of OP-19 Respond, World! is now listed at JapHunter as a single display, a bundle of two or three displays, or a factory-sealed case of twelve boxes, imported directly from Japan and shipped from Switzerland after the Japanese release.
