Cancellation Policy for Purchase Options

This cancellation policy applies to all orders placed on www.japhunter.ch, including standard orders, reservations, and pre-orders.

By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this policy without reservation.

1. Standard Orders

Any request to cancel a standard order must be submitted as soon as possible.

A cancellation may only be accepted if the order has not yet been:

  • processed,
  • prepared,
  • reserved,
  • ordered from a supplier,
  • or shipped.

Once the order has started being processed or has been shipped, JAPHUNTER reserves the right to refuse the cancellation.

2. Nature of Pre-Orders

A pre-order allows the customer to reserve a product before it becomes officially available.

By placing a pre-order on www.japhunter.ch, the customer understands and accepts that JAPHUNTER may promptly reserve, allocate, or purchase the product from its suppliers specifically based on the pre-order received.

For this reason, pre-orders constitute a firm commitment from the customer.

3. Pre-Orders Are Non-Cancellable

Unless exceptionally agreed otherwise by us in writing, pre-orders are non-cancellable.

This is because, as soon as the pre-order is confirmed, we commit costs, reserve quantities, and secure the product from our partners and suppliers.

A change of mind by the customer after confirmation of the pre-order does not oblige us to accept a cancellation.

4. Exceptional Cancellation of a Pre-Order

On a purely exceptional basis, JAPHUNTER may agree to cancel a pre-order.

In such a case, cancellation fees of up to 20% of the total pre-order amount may be charged to the customer.

These fees may cover, in particular:

  • reservation or allocation costs,
  • commitments made to suppliers,
  • administrative costs,
  • processing costs,
  • losses or expenses resulting from the cancellation.

The customer expressly agrees that, in the event an exceptional pre-order cancellation is granted, these fees may be retained or charged.

5. Product Already Reserved, Ordered, or Paid

If, at the time of the cancellation request, the product has already been:

  • reserved,
  • allocated,
  • ordered,
  • or paid for with our supplier,

JAPHUNTER reserves the right to refuse the cancellation definitively.

In such a situation, no cancellation or refund is guaranteed.

6. Supplier Delays, Release Changes, and Allocation Issues

Any release dates, delivery dates, availability dates, or shipping estimates provided for pre-orders are for information purposes only.

Supplier delays, release postponements, distribution changes, reduced allocations, or shortages may occur beyond our control.

Such circumstances do not automatically entitle the customer to cancel without fees.

7. Cancellation by JAPHUNTER

We reserve the right to cancel any order or pre-order in particular in the event of:

  • supplier unavailability,
  • obvious pricing errors,
  • stock or allocation issues,
  • suspected fraud,
  • or any other circumstance making fulfillment impossible or manifestly unreasonable.

In such cases, any amounts already paid will be refunded to the customer, without any further compensation.

8. Refunds

Where a refund is accepted, it will be made using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, bank, or payment method used.

9. Acceptance of This Policy

By placing an order on www.japhunter.ch, the customer acknowledges that they:

  • have read this cancellation policy,
  • understand that pre-orders are, in principle, non-cancellable,
  • and accept that cancellation fees of up to 20% may apply in cases where an exceptional cancellation is granted.
